We are very excited to get our hands on the Bangi Lot #70 from Gesha Village. A seed selection harvested from the wild coffee forest found 20 km from the current farm, the site where the famous Panamanian Geisha was selected in the 1930s. It's a beautifully grown and natural processed coffee. Beautiful notes of sweet berries, citrus acidity, and a stone fruit sweetness, all bound up with that geisha floral nose and complexity.
In 2011 Gesha Village began developing a 500 hectare coffee farm in Gesha, Ethiopia with one vision in mind: to produce the best coffee in the world. After an exhaustive search, the estate location was chosen based on their strict criteria of altitude (1900-2100 MASL), ample rainfall, temperature patterns, rich virgin forest soil, old growth trees, and an existing coffee ecosystem.
