Back in late 2020, we were invited to join a buying trip in Colombia. Unlike other sourcing trips where everything happens on site at the farm, COVID-19 had prevented us doing so.
Virtual Coffee Buyers Caravan could only happened virtually.
Thanks to technology and collective effort by the organizers, logistics partners, and importers, we were invited to participate and bought two special lots from the event.

Don Aura Silva comes from a real coffee growing family. When she was a child, she helped her father in all the coffee "beneficio" process. She lives with her husband, who helps her in all the farm labours. Dona Aura has 3 children, 2 daughters and a son who lives with her in the farm. Currently she is focused on the production of high quality coffees to improve her farm.
